A Little About Myself
My Beginning
As a striving passionate and motivated professional, I’m constantly striving to improve my techniques, expand my skill set and find new opportunities to grow. Each of my present and emerging projects, both solo and collaborative, will provide me with growth and allow me to establish myself within this competitive industry. I pride myself on being a more hands-on designer as I really enjoy working with metal and wood as my main sources of materials. I studied metal/woodwork my entire high school life. I come from a country town and have grown up on a cherry orchard my entire life and love playing Rugby League. I have learnt many tricks to many different trades as I have had plenty of work experience with trades and strive to always improve my skillset. Please enjoy my portfolio, and feel free to get in touch with any questions.
A life Time of Creativity
Throughout my early career as a designer, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects, most notable was my year 12 HSC project. Which consisted of me creating full metal chess set out of Brass and Aluminum. I've met many influential and creative individuals along the way. I've had some great opportunities in working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. A Strong Passion
Ever since I first held that rugby ball, I was hooked. It's not just about scoring tries or making tackles; it's about the laughs with my mates, the buzz from the crowd, and those crazy training sessions. Every time I'm on the pitch, it's like everything else just fades away. Win or lose, it's the game and the team that gets me going. It's taught me to hang tough, to keep pushing, and to enjoy every moment. To me, rugby league isn't just a sport, it's a part of who I am.
Current Goals
In the next five years, I aspire to secure a job, potentially in a workshop setting, which aligns with my passion for industrial design. I aim to develop my professional identity and brand, allowing me to confidently apply myself in a professional context. Improving my sketching and hand rendering skills is a priority to achieve this, as it wasn't emphasised during my academic journey. Ultimately, I hope to gain valuable experience and establish myself as a reputable industrial designer in the industry.
